Liz Rapoport '09
Hey everyone I'm Liz Rapoport and I am this year's chair for Slope Day, which means that I live, sleep, eat, and dream Slope Day (and love every second of it). In this position I get to work with an amazing group of students and staff to put on an event that is a huge part of the Cornell experience. I also co-chair the Slope Day Steering Committee and sit on a variety of other committees that address different aspects of Slope Day. Awesome facts about me: I am a junior in the ILR school... I do Cornell Concert Commission and play Club Field Hockey in the time I am not working on Slope Day... I TA in statistics... and I love wearing sweatpants and baking chocolate chip cookies. See you on the Slope!

I'm Production Chair for Slope Day, which means that I have already started to bring you the best concert ever for this year's event. I work with band management along with sound and production companies to make sure that we have a stage, lights, speakers, and of course food for all of the people who work hard behind the scenes to make the concert happen. I'm also the current webmaster for this site, so if you have any problems with the site, let me know. Outside Slope Day, I have to juggle my Senior Chemical Engineering responsibilities with upcoming events as the an event manager for Cornell Productions. I also was Production Director for Concert Commission last year. If you have any questions about how we put the concert together or would like to get involved in helping me set up the stage the night before do not hesitate to shoot me an email.

Hey hey I'm Catherine Lee - Promotions Director for the Slope Day Programming board. Ooooo. Exciting. Since Slope Day is one of those events that needs no introduction, my job is not exactly to get people to come to the event. Instead, I try to attract people to our organization to help plan it all, I hold a contest (open to all students) to find the perfect theme for the year's posters, and I promote the crucial info, like the guest ticket sales, rules, and timeline of Slope Day. Other than that, I'm currently a senior Psychology major planning on going to medical school. I was also the Promotions Director of the Cornell Concert Commission for the last 2 years, I have a part-time job at Cornell Catering, and I am a research assistant in the Social Psychology Lab. When I have free time, I'm in love with eating, sleeping, watching movies, and live music.
